Mike McKnight Wins Career Achievement Award
Congratulations to Mike McKnight, who was presented with the Donna Carnall Career Achievement Award at the July Awards Luncheon. The DCCAA is the highest honor that the Fort Worth Association of Health Underwriters can bestow upon a member.
FWAHU Strategic Planning Meeting
FWAHU will be holding its annual Strategic Planning Meeting on Friday, June 26th at Saltgrass Steakhouse in Arlington. All FWAHU members are invited to attend and share their ideas on things we should do during the 2009-10 chapter year.

FWAHU Announces Executive Board for 2009-10

New Member Spotlight: Stephen Scasta
FWAHU would like to extend a warm welcome to Stephen Scasta. Stephen joined our chapter in January. He has been working in the HSA industry with Wells Fargo Health Benefit Services for the last year and a half.
FWAHU Donates $1,000 to Carnall\’s Kids
Congratulations to Michele Flood and her committee for a spectacular job planning and executing our Golf Tournament. Thanks to their tremendous effort, we were able to donate $1,000 to Carnall\’s Kids.
FWAHU Cleans up at TAHU Awards Banquet
Congratulations to FWAHU for an outstanding night at TAHU Awards Banquet. Not only did FWAHU win the Medium Chapter of the Year Award (tied with East Texas AHU), several local members took home individual awards.
FWAHU wins Chapter of the Year Award…again
FWAHU President Kelly Dills had the honor of accepting the Chapter of the Year Award at the annual TAHU Awards Banquet. This is the fourth year in a row that the Fort Worth chapter has received this award.

April Luncheon: Legislative Update
We are at a critical time in our careers; a critical time for our industry. The new administration in Washington and new legislature in Austin have health care; specifically health insurance in their cross-hairs and both intend to pass legislation that will place our careers in jeopardy. Kasey Buckner will share what the landscape looks like and give us the talking points we need to share with our clients.
