June President\’s Message
This is my last month as your president and concludes 7 years with FWAHU. Ha! I am not going anywhere so you can\’t get rid of me that easily! I am stepping aside and letting your new president do her thing.

Now is the time to learn the facts of life. Ok, well, if not that, then at least the facts of Self Funding. This month we are having an extended day which includes 4 hours of CE, breakfast, and lunch.

April President\’s Message
For those of you who missed Day at the Capitol the 12 of us who made it learned alot, taught alot, and have stories to tell! We had 5 general members and 7 board members including many first timers.
April CE- Healthy Texas presented by Mark Bellman
Come to the FWAHU luncheon on April 14th to learn about the Healthy Texas program that will likely be the precursor to the Exchange in Texas. Who knows, you may learn something new, sell more business, and help save private insurance in the process!
TAHU growth contest AND retention contest 2nd quarter
FWAHU won both the TAHU growth contest and the retention contest 2nd quarter. Thanks to all of the members that helped achieve this goal!
