New Member Beth Stevens began her insurance career in 1999 working with life insurance and individual and group health. In her own words, this was before she found her passion working with seniors and moved into the Medicare industry segment in 2004.
In 2008, Beth had the privilege of starting a job with the Copeland Group, an agency focusing on senior market products, which has been in operation since founder Mel Copeland entered the insurance field in 1962. This firm strives to be a leader in providing quality service to it;s clients and Beth is proud that it has established a well-respected position in the business communities of Texas. The Copeland Group aims to offer the top products with the best companies to ensure that their clients will have the best of care.
Beth’s primary role at Copeland Group is to ensure that agents recruited are knowledgeable and ready to help educate the coming wave of Baby Boomers about Medicare and their options for supplemental coverage. The agency offers not only local group trainings, but also one-on-one training to help new agents wanting to break into the Medicare industry. Beth’s favorite part about Copeland is their committment to a personal, service-driven approach to helping agents with every aspect of the business they produce.
FWAHU can thank veteran member Briscoe Dunn for introducing her to our organization. As a long-time agent, Briscoe knows the importance of networking and establishing relationships with other industry leaders. Beth is excited about the opportunity to experience the many benefits from being part of this association and wants to become very involved with our chapter.
In addition to spending her spare time with family and friends, she enjoys riding motorcycles, and especially listening to live music. She has two musically talented sons – one a singer and one that plays the drums – and Mom has been known to join in with the tambourine on occasion.
Welcome Beth – to FWAHU! Our chapter is anxious to get to know you!
