FWAHU January 12th Luncheon

Program: The Fort Worth Association of Health Underwriters is trying something a little different in January – a daytime talk show!! This is a meeting you definitely don’t want to miss. Past president Sharon Alt will be flying in from New Orleans to host this special event.

So what will the format be – Oprah, Ellen, or Jerry Springer? You’ll have to show up to find out, but one thing’s for certain: you won’t be disappointed.

We’re still finalizing our lineup of guests, but the theme of the program is “start the new year right.” The audience will be given tips and tools that they can use to be happier, healthier, and more successful in the New Year.

Of course, no show is complete without a big-name guest, and we have one for you – MISTY BAKER!!! Misty shook up the TAHU world in October when she announced her resignation as president elect. Come find out why and learn all about Misty’s new gig as Director of Health Insurance Information for the Independent Insurance Agents of Texas. This is the perfect role for this legislative guru – and Sharon is sure to squeeze some timely health insurance information out of her.

“Drink & Learn” Ethics CE: And the fun doesn’t stop there. Following the luncheon presentation, Eric Johnson will be teaching a two-hour CE course called Finally, a FUN Ethics Class! What better way to start the year than by getting your ethics requirement out of the way? And don’t worry – if you’ve already had ethics this license renewal, the course will still count toward your 30 required CE hours.

This is a “drink & learn” CE with the first round provided by Alt Bentley Yates.
